Farewell…for now

I’ve been dreading making this post for awhile now, which is the reason I’ve put it off for so long. But I am sad to announce that I have decided to put The Honie Bee on an indefinite hiatus. Unfortunately due to my hectic school schedule and heavy course load this year, I cannot give this blog the attention that it deserves and needs.

I am so very grateful for everyone who has supported and visited this blog in this past year. It has been really fun and I am really sad to give it up, but getting into college takes precedence. I hope that if my schedule permits, I can return to this blog sometime in the future, but I can’t make any promises for now.

Thank you to everyone who has visited The Honie Bee!

The grass is greener

It’s my last week of school! Even though all three days will consist of exams, I don’t mind. The past weekend was bittersweet, with all my senior friends graduated and gone. They made my sophomore year very special and it’s upsetting that they are no longer high school students, but, a part of the alumni instead. On another note, my summer countdown is soon coming to a close as my countdown for DC and Seattle are beginning!

Summer Countdown

I apologize to all my viewers for my lack of posts for the past couple of weeks! It has been a hectic situation juggling AP exams (thank goodness that’s over) and campaigning for my school’s student government. However, I am back and it is approximately two weeks until school is let out and SUMMER BEGINS!

Black & Yellow

About a week ago, I found out that I was chosen to go to Washington DC for an organization called Jefferson Awards along with the president of our school’s student government! Ahhh, I am so ecstatic and grateful for this opportunity…I still can’t believe it. On another note, there is only 24 more days of school left…and so the countdown begins!!

Feeling green

This shoot was one of my more playful posts as I attempted to do all the cheery jumping poses that I have yet to master. A close friend of mine was gracious enough to help me take photos despite all the AP prepping that has been going on. This post is dedicated to Megan, thanks!!

When life gives you lemons

The real star of these photos is the lemon tree in my neighbor’s yard. Why? Because sometimes, the branches will fall over to our side of the fence… and who can resist free lemons?

Not so Coachella bound…

While I was spending my Saturday doing absolutely nothing, Coachella was happening. All of my favorite bloggers and celebrities were there having a blast…whether it was in a pool full of ‘Lacoste alligators’ or drinking fresh coconuts. Hopefully, in the not so far future I will be among them!
